Because of the difference between extended stay hotels and corporate housing apartments, we wanted to take this opportunity to talk about what all is included in an apartment and how these differences not only make it easier for your company, but less expensive as well.
What is included:
All VIP apartments include the following items in the flat billing rate:
- All utilities (electric, gas, water, etc)
- Local phone service
- Cable
- Internet
This is in addition to having 2-3 times more space than in an extended stay hotel and the conveniences of home with a full kitchen, couch, dining area, separate bedroom and laundry facilities.
For an average hotel, you would have these charges that you won't have with VIP:
- Hotel taxes (average $840 a month)
- High speed internet daily charges
- Laundry service charges
- Local phone charges
Plus, because of being in a limited space, you have to factor in additional charges for:
- Restaurant meals
- Parking
- Pet boarding (if applicable)
- Expensive local & long distance charges (local calling is free & long distance packages are available from VIP)

How are stays longer than 30 days billed?
We pro-rate charges above and beyond the initial 30 days on a per-day rate.
Can you bill employers directly?
Yes, we can bill an employer directly so that the resident does not need to expense the cost of the apartment.
Can charges be split?
Many times, charges are also split so that the employer pays for all of the standard options and upgrades are the responsibility of the resident. We can split these items into different bills so that each party is billed for the appropriate items.
It is our goal to include everything needed so that the base rate remains the base rate. You won't be surprised by taxes, fees or additional charges. All of this with the benefits of living in an apartment instead of in a cramped hotel room.
